SandHills Stock Show & Rodeo

The first place winners from each event won anywhere from $2,000 to $8,000. This rodeo gave some cowboys a nice start on the 2012 season and boosted there confidence to go on to the Denver Stock Show & Rodeo,  which is one of the bigger rodeos in the 2012 season.

All-around cowboy: Trevor Brazile, $4,185, team roping, tie-down roping and steer roping          Bareback riding:  1. Cimmaron Gerke, 85 points on Harry Vold Rodeo’s Butterfly, $4,503                   Steer wrestling: Average: 1. Jake Shaw, 7.5 seconds on two head, $2,221                                            Team roping: Average: 1.
