SandHills Stock Show & Rodeo

The first place winners from each event won anywhere from $2,000 to $8,000. This rodeo gave some cowboys a nice start on the 2012 season and boosted there confidence to go on to the Denver Stock Show & Rodeo,  which is one of the bigger rodeos in the 2012 season.

All-around cowboy: Trevor Brazile, $4,185, team roping, tie-down roping and steer roping          Bareback riding:  1. Cimmaron Gerke, 85 points on Harry Vold Rodeo’s Butterfly, $4,503                   Steer wrestling: Average: 1. Jake Shaw, 7.5 seconds on two head, $2,221                                            Team roping: Average: 1. Manny Egusquiza Jr./Brad Culpepper, 10.1 seconds on two head, $3,235 each                                                                                                                                                                     Saddle bronc riding: 1. Cody Wright, 86 points on Harry Vold Rodeo’s Matterhorn, $4,229                   Tie-down roping:  Average: 1. Clint Cooper, 16.8 seconds on two head, $3,301                                 Barrel racing: Average: 1. Paige Conrado, 28.29 seconds on two runs, $2,838                                        Bull riding: 1. Shane Semien, 88 points on 4L & Diamond S Rodeo’s Sandi’s Dream, $6,098

  1. How bout that new rookie that stepped into the PRCA..I think his name is Colton Kudlock or something? He seems to really being moving up the world standings. He is like all the way up too #5 in the heeling PRCA standing...he must of won big at Denver this weekend or something crazy like that..Check into that
